Briony Maeve is a British/Irish artist and chef, currently residing in London, England. Her cross-disciplinary practice includes sensory installations, culinary arts, and an exploration of sound. She’s drawn towards the aesthetics of science fiction films, which has contributed to the cultivation of her style, that intervenes at the intersection of dystopian biopunk and utopian biofutures. Through speculative design, she explores the possibilities of nature in a world where it has been devalued, diminished, and ultimately destroyed.
